2028 might feel a long way off — but if we want to change the story of politics in the Northern Territory, now is the time to start building.
Held in Palmerston, this will be the second workshop to grow our movement and build on the momentum gained over the past 12 months — a community effort to create a fairer, more democratic NT.
We’re here to get organised: to learn new skills, connect with others, and shape a campaign that grows from the ground up. The workshop will incorporate:
- Movement building: Understand the purpose and potential of community independent candidates and representatives leading into the 2028 elections.
- Skill sessions: Learn practical organising and communication tools that will help power our campaign.
- Connection: Meet others who share your values and are ready to act for a more democratic, hopeful future.
- Next steps: Choose your tentacle — and help bring The Movement to life.
All you need to bring is a notepad, pen and your enthusiasm!
